Overview

Located within the lush greenery of the Mollem National Park, Dudhsagar Falls is one of India’s tallest and most breathtaking waterfalls. Towering at a height of 310 meters, it cascades down in four distinct tiers, creating the illusion of a flowing "sea of milk." This picturesque waterfall is located approximately 60 km from Panaji, nestled on the Goa-Karnataka border. The falls are best witnessed during the monsoon season, when they are at their most powerful and the surrounding forests are a vibrant shade of green.

Dudhsagar Falls is not only known for its natural beauty but also for its thrilling trekking opportunities and scenic train routes. Although the famous Dudhsagar Railway Trek is no longer open to the public, visitors can still embark on an adventurous trek to the lower part of the falls. Alternatively, a Jeep Safari is available to take you closer to the falls, making it easier to reach and enjoy the stunning surroundings.

Entry and Charges

  • Entry Fee: INR 50 (nominal charge)
  • Jeep Safari: INR 500–600 per person (includes entry, jeep ride, and life jackets)

How to Reach Dudhsagar Falls

By Jeep: The easiest way to reach Dudhsagar Falls is via a Jeep Safari from the nearby Mollem or Collem villages. The safari provides an exciting ride through the forest, bringing you close to the falls.
