Located in Ahmedabad, the Jhulta Minar (or Shaking Minaret) is one of the world’s most intriguing architectural mysteries. These 500-year-old minarets are famous for their unusual phenomenon: when one minaret is shaken, the other moves seconds later, without any vibrations passing through the connecting passage. This curious feature has baffled architects and historians for centuries.

The minarets were part of the Sidi Bashir Mosque, which was destroyed in the 1753 Gujarat Sultanate war. The origin of the minarets is debated, with two conflicting stories about their construction. Regardless, their Gothic Muslim architecture, with Rajput influences, leaves visitors in awe.

How to Reach: Located near Kalupur Railway Station, Jhulta Minar is easily accessible by buses, shared autos, and rickshaws.
