Overview
The Kesaria Stupa, located near Patna, Bihar, is the largest and tallest Buddhist Stupa in the world. Built by Emperor Ashoka, this grand monument marks a significant place in Buddhist history. It is believed to be the site where Buddha donated his begging bowl in his last days. The stupa stands as a spectacular example of ancient Buddhist architecture, showcasing a vast array of Buddhist statues and intricate carvings.

Although much of the structure has been damaged over time, primarily due to invasions by Muslim rulers, the stupa remains a symbol of both historical grandeur and architectural brilliance. It was only in recent excavations by the Archaeological Survey of India (ASI) that the stupa was rediscovered, adding a new chapter to its rich history.
