Established in 1984, the Lalbhai Dalpatbhai Museum (L.D. Museum) in Ahmedabad showcases an impressive collection of Indian sculptures, paintings, manuscripts, coins, and more. Located on the L.D. Institute of Indology campus, it highlights regional art forms, particularly from the Jain tradition. The museum houses 76,000 Jain manuscripts, including illustrated versions, along with rare sculptures like the largest Buddha head and the earliest painted paper manuscript of Shantinath Charitra, recognized by UNESCO.
