Overview

The Moti Mahal Palace, also known as the Pearl Palace, is a historic monument built by Nawab Saadat Ali Khan. Located along the scenic banks of the Gomti River, it is nestled next to the Mubarak Manzil and Shah Manzil. Originally part of the Qaisar Bagh complex, the palace once served as the residence of the Nawabs of Lucknow.

Although the palace’s pristine white structure has weathered with time, it remains a wonderful spot for birdwatching, a popular activity among the Nawabs who enjoyed observing birds and animal fights as entertainment. Today, the lush gardens surrounding the palace are used to host conferences, parties, and special events, offering a serene ambiance with royal charm.

How to Reach

The Moti Mahal Palace is easily accessible by auto-rickshaws, cabs, or public transport from Lucknow Junction Railway Station, approximately 4 km away. The palace is also a short drive from the city center, making it a convenient visit for tourists.
