Neemach Mata Temple, Udaipur Overview
Located atop the scenic Dewali Hill, near the serene Fateh Sagar Lake in Udaipur, the Neemach Mata Temple is a revered Hindu pilgrimage site. Dedicated to Neemach Mata Devi, also known as Ambaji, the temple is especially significant to the royal family of the Maharanas of Udaipur, believed to be the goddess of their household.

The temple's grand architecture features a towering central spire (shikhar) and a sacred ‘hawan kund’ for performing yagnas. Visitors are treated to breathtaking panoramic views of Udaipur’s lakes and landscape from the temple’s hilltop. To reach the temple, you can either trek or climb a flight of 900 meters of stairs. In addition to the main deity, the temple houses an idol of Lord Ganesh and statues of lions on all three sides.
