Located about 8 kilometers south of Nashik, Maharashtra, the Pandavleni Caves (also known as Pandu Caves or Nasik Caves) are a stunning set of ancient rock-cut caves that date back to the 3rd century BC to 2nd century AD. This complex of 24 caves was carved out to serve as monasteries, shrines, and meditation halls for the Buddhist monks of that era.
