The Raman Science Centre, also known as Raman Science Kendra, is an engaging and interactive science museum located in Nagpur. Affiliated with Mumbai's Nehru Science Centre, the Raman Science Centre aims to promote a scientific mindset and inspire curiosity among the masses. The centre was established on 7th March 1992, and the planetarium was added on 5th January 1997 to enhance the learning experience.
This science centre is dedicated to showcasing the growth of science, technology, and their applications in human welfare and industries. The centre is named after C. V. Raman, the famous Indian physicist and Nobel Laureate, further emphasizing its commitment to fostering scientific thinking.
