History
Construction of the Se Cathedral began in 1562, with the church consecrated in 1640. Its design integrates elements from Gothic, Spanish, and Flemish architecture, creating a unique blend of styles. The cathedral’s interior is lavishly decorated with Corinthian columns, wooden screens, and ancient relics like the baptismal font used by Saint Francis Xavier.
