The Tank Monument, located near Leisure Valley and close to the Government Museum and Art Gallery, is a powerful tribute to the Indian Army. The monument features an M46 Patton tank, which serves as a reminder of India's military history, particularly the Indo-Pakistan War of 1965. Captured during the Battle of Asal Uttar, this tank symbolizes the courage and resilience of the Indian forces. The tank was inaugurated by Shri Vijay Dev, IAS, Advisor to the Administrator, UT Chandigarh, and stands as a testament to the valor displayed during the war.
