Overview
Located 1 km from Ram Jhula in the Swarashram area of Rishikesh, The Beatles Ashram (also known as Chaurasi Kuti) is a famous spiritual site. In 1968, The Beatles visited this ashram to meditate and write many of their iconic songs. The complex includes a former temple, a library, the Maharishi Yogi's residence, meditation huts, and a kitchen. Although the buildings are in decay, vibrant graffiti adorns the walls, giving it an artistic and unique charm. A small gallery and café add to the experience.

The ashram once served as the training centre of Maharishi Mahesh Yogi and was abandoned until 2015 when it was reopened for tourists. It is now managed by the Rajaji Tiger Reserve, which lies outside its boundary. To reach the ashram, park at Janki Setu and walk 1 km along the western bank of the Ganges.
